This is it. One the worst gaffes in history. Possibly the worst gaffe I’ve ever heard. If Gordon Brown had any chance at winning this election, it’s gone by now. I hate myself for posting this, but it’s news.

Though.. is she right that ‘you can’t say anything about immigrants’?
And what cán be done about Eastern European immigrants who just make use of their right to free movement? Poles are EU-citizens after all. I understand that they take up jobs that would otherwise have been filled by British citizens, but isn’t this the point of the EU? Settle in what EU country you wish and start a life there?
